BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Broomfield police are asking the public to help identify three men who pulled an armed robbery at a beauty supply store on Tuesday afternoon.
At about 5:30 p.m., two men entered AAA Nail Supply at 6570 W. 120th Ave. and walked around the store, acting as if they were shopping, police said. A third man initially hung outside the front door before entering the store.
After a few minutes, one of the men pointed a gun at a store employee and demanded his wallet. Meanwhile, the other two men stole cash from the registers along with a safe box containing cash, checks and credit card receipts, police said.
Police released surveillance photos of the suspects on Wednesday.
The robber who pointed the gun at the employee is described as an adult Asian or Hispanic man, who is about 6-feet tall and 180 pounds. He has long dark hair that was pulled back in a ponytail. He was wearing black pants and a black shirt, a dark green vest and a black baseball hat with a green dragon across the front and a metallic sticker on the brim.
The two accomplices are also Asian or Hispanic men. They were wearing dark pants and dark hoodies.
Police said an older model gray or silver Honda sedan may be linked to the robberies.
Police asked anyone who has information about the crime or the suspects' identities to contact Broomfield Detective Dale Hammell at 303-464-5733.
