2 young girls missing from Fort Lupton area found OK

FORT LUPTON, Colo. - Two young girls who were missing from the Fort Lupton area since Friday were found OK Sunday..

A 15 year old and a 12 year old were reported missing from Aristocrat subdivision Friday evening.

Cindy Lemus-Delarosa, 15, and Mirka Munoz, 12, were found Sunday afternoon, after their photos were released by the sheriff's office. At 5:45 p.m., the girls were on their way to a Weld County Sheriff's Office substation.

A sheriff's office spokesman told 7NEWS the younger girl and the 15-year-old were at home when Mirka's parents went out Friday night.  The girls were gone when Mirka's parents returned later in the evening and hadn't been heard from until after 5 p.m. Sunday.

After the girls were found, the sheriff's office issued a statement that said, "No further information will be released from this office as no foul play is suspected."
