WELD COUNTY, Colo. - Two students were arrested Monday after an alleged threat involving Weld Central High School in Keenesburg.
The Weld County Sheriff's Office said several juvenile suspects were identified as co-conspirators in the alleged threat and two were taken into custody on charges of interference with staff, faculty, or students of an educational institution.
"The investigation is ongoing at this time but there appears to be no remaining credible threat towards the safety of Weld Central High School, students or staff," officials said.
No details about the alleged threat were released, nor the identities of the students.
Seniors were taking final exams at the school on Monday. Students in grades 9 to 11 take finals next week.
