DENVER - A man was arrested in the shooting of two men in Lower Downtown Denver on Saturday morning.
The victims arrived at the hospital in critical condition. One victim is now in stable condition, while the other remains in critical condition, but the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, said Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez.
An argument in the parking lot led to the shootings near 16th and Market Streets just before 2:30 a.m., Lopez said.
A person pulled out a gun and began shooting the two victims, she said.
Police were able to arrest the suspect within 10 minutes of the shooting because of eyewitnesses, Lopez said.
The names of the victims and the suspect have not been released.
