2 inmates escape minimum security prison camp in Englewood, Colorado

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Two inmates escaped from a minimum security prison camp in Englewood Saturday night.

The two men were discovered to be missing from the Federal Prison Camp at 9595 W. Quincy Ave. at about 10 p.m.

Noel Valdovines is Hispanic, 22 years old, 5’ 11” tall and weighs 175 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. Valdovines was sentenced in Colorado for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Valdovines was scheduled to be released on December 29, 2019.

Christopher Ramirez-Reyna is Hispanic, 27 years old, 5’ 09” tall and weighs 180 pounds. Ramirez-Reyna has brown eyes and black hair. He was sentenced in Texas for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Ramirez-Reyna was scheduled to be released on October 9, 2018.

The facility is a minimum security work camp that typically houses approximately 180 non-violent inmates or those who are nearing their release date, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
