AURORA, Colo. - Two firefighters were injured Monday afternoon battling a house fire in East Aurora and were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Aurora Fire confirmed.
A resident and another person were also injured and transported with non-life-threatening injuries, said Aurora Fire Department spokesman Allen Robnett.
The fire, which broke out at a home located at 16582 East Asbury Ave., was first reported around 12:49 p.m., Robnett said.
The house is located next to Horseshoe Park by East Mexico Avenue and South Buckley Road. The back of the house was badly damaged.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
