PUEBLO, Colo. - Two people died early Saturday in a one-vehicle rollover in Pueblo.
Just after 1 a.m., police officers responded to the area of Highway 47 and Troy Avenue.
Investigators determined that a silver Subaru with two people was traveling eastbound on Highway 47 when the driver lost control near Troy Avenue and rolled the vehicle several times. Both the driver and the passenger were ejected.
The driver was a 22-year-old male and the passenger was a 19-year-old female.
Based on witness statements, speed is believed to be a factor in the accident.
It does not appear that either occupant was wearing a seatbelt. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
