CASTLE ROCK, Colo. - Two homes in Castle Rock were empty when a three alarm fire began around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Castle Rock spokeswoman Karen McGrath said the two homes involved were at 35 and 45 Bristol Street, near Founders Parkway. She also said a neighbor told investigators it looked like the fire started outside.

McGrath said approximately one-eighth of one of the homes was significantly damaged.

No people and no pets were home at the time of the fire, McGrath said.
