BOULDER, Colo. — It's been more than a decade since the day a family in Boulder last saw Robert Matthew Bockmann, and his case is seemingly the same.

Bockmann simply is gone from the face of the earth, with no living sightings and no located remains. That's left his fragmented family with no closure.

The most recent clues located in the case surfaced on April 19, just one day after Bockman went missing on April 18, 2003. Police located the man's car, with his wallet inside.

According to reports, Bockmann's father, who lives in Texas, described his son as depressed over his divorce and more.

His disappearance followed a move from Texas to Colorado to be with his mother and brother, when just weeks later, he disappeared in a wooded area in Boulder without a trace.

Bockmann's father reportedly has said he believes the man took his own life, but an extensive search of the area where police found his vehicle turned up no remains.

Despite hikers and a concentrated search of the mountains, there have been no confirmed tips or remains located matching Bockmann's age or DNA.

Born in 1976, Bockmann would be 40-years-old this year. Attempts to reach Bockmann's family were unsuccessful.

Anybody with tips is still asked to call Boulder Police at 303-441-4328.
