DENVER -- Deadly drug overdoses are on the rise across Colorado. According to the Colorado Health Institute, the state had 12 counties with age-adjusted drug overdose death rates of above 20 per 100,000 people in the last year data was available: 2014.
The CHI analysis is based off data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Health Statistics, National Vital System, and Morality Data. Read more on the stunning rise in overdose deaths across the state by clicking here and here.
