DENVER - One person is in custody after a barricade situation in Denver that lasted more that five hours.
"DPD is on scene of a suicidal party/barricade in the 4500 Blk of W. 3rd. Negotiators are responding," the Denver Police Department tweeted at 2:30 a.m.
Vrain Street was closed between 3rd and 4th avenues, police said. That's about five blocks southeast of Sheridan Blvd. and 6th Ave.
At 4 a.m., police tweeted the barricade situation had been cleared.
No one was hurt, police said.
