1 injured when shots are fired and car crashes into Denver restaurant

DENVER - Denver police were investigating a traffic crash and shooting at 38th Avenue and Pecos Street.
An SUV crashed into the Los Carboncitos Mexican restaurant on the corner just before 10 p.m. Sunday
Neighbors told 7NEWS they heard at least eight shots and then a loud crash. Police said they were still trying to determine the sequence of events.
One person was taken to Denver Health Medical Center for treatment.
The Denver Police gang unit was investigating the shooting.
