LAKEWOOD, Colo. – One person was injured and another left homeless after a car crashed into a Lakewood home Sunday evening.
West Metro Fire crews arrived on scene in the 7300 block of West Hampden Avenue North around 6 p.m.
The driver of the car that crashed into the home was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. One person was inside of the house when the crash occurred but was unharmed.

The crash heavily damaged the subdivided apartment home. Red Cross said the resident whose apartment was damaged has been displaced and is receiving assistance.
Investigators have not said why the driver crashed into the home.
