1 driver hurt, 1 driver runs off after head-on crash in Castle Rock

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. - The Colorado State Patrol said troopers are investigating a head-on crash that sent one driver to the hospital and sent the other driver running from the scene.

The crash was reported in Castle Rock at South Tempe and East Progress around 12:15 a.m. Thursday.

State troopers said the injured driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

Investigators initially said one man ran from the scene. Later, they said two men got away from the crash in a stolen silver, Toyota Avalon. One of the men had facial injuries.
