DENVER – A person is dead and a suspect is in custody after a shooting Monday evening in southwestern Denver.
The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday in the 3000 block of W Colorado Avenue.
Police said the victim was taken to a local hospital, but later said the person died. Officers said they had one suspect in custody.
The identity of both the victim and suspect have yet to be released.
