BRIGHTON, Colo. - One adult was killed and another injured in a shooting at a Brighton home early Saturday morning, police said.
Brighton Police spokesman John Bradley said police were called at 1:51 a.m. to a home in the 3500 block of Hottman Street on reported family dispute that ended in gunfire.
A man was killed in the shooting and another man was transported with a gunshot wound to his leg, Bradley told 7NEWS.
Bradley said it was too early in the investigation to state whether the killing was a homicide or suicide. He also would not release the genders of the shooting victims or their relationship to one another.
Neighbors told 7NEWS Reporter Molly Hendrickson that three people lived in the house and they heard nothing out of the ordinary last night.
Police said the 911 call for help came from the home.
