Jurors Cry Hearing Testimony

Jurors See Graphic Images In Death Penalty Trial

Monday was a tough day for jurors in the murder trial of Sir Mario Owens.

Many were shaken and a few cried as prosecutors showed a murder scene video and autopsy pictures of victims Javad Marshall-Fields and Vivian Wolfe.

Prosectors believe the two were killed to keep Fields from testifying in the upcoming trial of Fields' friend, Greg Vann.

Vann was shot and killed on July 4, 2004, during a concert at Lowry Park. Fields was slightly injured in the attack.

Monday in court the judge praised jurors for their hard work and told them that when deliberations begin they will have a say in the schedule.

The trial was expected to last 10 weeks, but some sources told 7NEWS it is moving along faster than expected.
