BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Police body camera video obtained by Denver7 Investigates depicts the recent arrest of a father accused of his teenage son's murder.

The Bellingham (Washington) Police Department took Mark Redwine into custody early Saturday morning after using GPS to track his tractor trailer. Redwine was apprehended on a second degree murder warrant for the death of his 13-year-old son, Dylan Redwine, who disappeared in 2012.

The video shows police approached the truck with guns drawn.Over a loudspeaker, they ordered Redwine to get out of the truck. The suspect opened the driver door and left the truck without incident. Police ordered him to the ground and he complied.

As police cuffed him, Redwine expressed confusion about what was happening.

"If you guys can, can you explain to me what's going on?" Redwine was heard saying.

Later, as Redwine is loaded into a police car, officers tell him his arrest is in connection with a warrant for second degree murder.

"I have no idea what that is about," Redwine responded.

Mark Redwine is still in custody in Washington on $1 million cash only bond, pending extradition to Colorado. If he is able to post bond, he will have to appear before a judge before he is released.
