Houston bar donates 100 percent of profits to charity

HOUSTON - Need an excuse to drink? Well, it's for a good cause.

A Houston bar donates 100 percent of its profits to local charities.

The Original OKRA Charity Saloon opened last December.

Manager Mike Criss says they've done much better than expected. He says they're giving $300,000 to local organizations this year, about three times the amount they first projected.

The charity saloon is run by a group that includes some of the city's best-known bars and restaurants.

Playboy magazine even named the saloon one of the best bars in the country.
