A 25-year-old man survived a 50-foot fall Sunday afternoon on Arthur's Rock, west of Fort Collins.

A team of rescuers had to carry the victim to an area where an Air Life helicopter from Greeley was waiting.

He was transferred to the Poudre Valley Hospital with multiple lacerations, significant swelling in the ankle and a possible concussion.

Rescuers said the man was conscious and breathing at the time of rescue.
