Denver, CO (September 3, 2013) – Kellie Patterson, an award winning journalist, is joining Denver’s 7 as morning anchor for 7NEWS NOW as announced today by News Director, Jeff Harris. “Kellie is a smart, credible and enthusiastic journalist. Viewers will see her natural energy and passion for reporting on breaking news and news that affects Coloradans,” said Harris. “We have an incredible team in the mornings. They are a close bunch on and off camera. They are driven to deliver the best newscast possible for our viewers and Kellie’s experience and dedication to strong journalism will make 7NEWS NOW even better.”
Patterson most recently worked as the morning newscast anchor at WCNC in Charlotte. She has also worked at television stations in Texas and South Carolina as a reporter, anchor and producer. Patterson is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
