SHELBY COUNTY, Mich. - Justin Townsend, a 12-year-old from Shelby Township, Mich., was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer in September and has been fighting for his life ever since. Now, his version of a Jason Mraz song is going viral.

A family friend says Justin is an amazing boy who loves the Detroit Tigers and playing guitar.

Justin recently had most of his tumor removed and is now undergoing treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

In November, Justin recorded a rendition of "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz at St. Jude that will melt your heart.

On Wednesday, the Shelby Township community gathered to raise funds for the Townsend family to help cover travel expenses as he continues his treatment.
