According to Game Informer, The Witcher 3 will feature “a living open world larger than any other in modern RPG history.” Polish developer CD Projekt RED anticipates about 100 hours of play time.
The Order: 1886 Genre : Action-Adventure Release : Early 2015 Platform : PS4 The only PS4 exclusive on our list, this new franchise from the developers of the God of War series features a unique setting and creepy atmosphere. The game is set in an alternate history London, where half-breed monsters are a reality. Players will control characters inspired by King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table but instead of swords, they wield steampunk-inspired guns.

Even Paul McCartney has attached his name as one of the composers for the score. Developer Bungie has said the environment of the game will be a living thing, with events happening that are not controlled. Players will be able to “personalize and upgrade every aspect” of their character, according to the game’s website.

The plot takes place 15 years after the events of the film Alien as Ellen Ripley’s daughter Amanda attempts to find out the truth behind her mother’s disappearance. Players will not go in guns ablazing but rather “underpowered and underprepared,” according to the game’s official website.
Mass Effect 4 Genre : Action Shooter Release : No date announced There are very few details about this new entry in the critically-acclaimed series. Reports indicate that the original trilogy’s protagonist Commander Shepard will not be involved in the new story, according to head writer Mac Walters. “It can’t just feel like a spin-off. It has to feel like a Mass Effect game at its heart...just without the Shepard character,” Walters said in 2013.
