Man stabbed at Wheat Ridge Motel 6

Police searching for silver 1994 Jeep Cherokee

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. - Wheat Ridge police detectives are looking into the stabbing of a man at the Motel 6.

Officers were called to the motel, at 9920 W. 49th Ave. Monday at 9:45 p.m. They found a man in his mid-40s suffering from life-threatening stab wounds.

The man was taken to St. Anthony's Hospital. His condition has not been released. Detectives working on the case said they have not been able to speak to him.

Detectives are actively searching for the victim's vehicle, described as a silver 1994 Jeep Cherokee with license plate 986-TBJ.
