Bank robbery suspect Paul Hartman left the cash behind, police say

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. - A Wheat Ridge bank was robbed Friday morning, but police say the suspect left without any of the cash.

Paul Hartman, 50, of Denver, is accused of demanding money from the 1st Bank at 3190 Youngfield Street at approximately 10:30 a.m. Police spokesman John Romero says witnesses told officers Hartman walked out without any of the money.

Hartman was arrested a few hours later by detectives in Wheat Ridge, Romero said.
