Parker police are investigating the reported kidnapping and sexual assault of a teenager who was taken from her home Monday night. They hope someone may have seen something that could help to solve the case.

The 17-year-old victim said she was kidnapped from her home, put in a vehicle and subjected to what police are calling unlawful sexual contact. Dawn Cashman, Parker Police Department spokeswoman, said the girl was home alone inside when the kidnapping occurred.

Specific details about the location of the victim's home or about the kidnapping were not released, except that the teenager was released in the Willow Park area within a mile of her home.

Investigators do not have a description of the suspect/suspects or the vehicle that was involved. Cashman said the victim had something put over her eyes.

"(The victim) does not know the people, she does not know who would have done this. That's why we are reaching out to the public," said Dawn Cashman, Parker Police Department spokeswoman.

Parker police said investigators are asking anyone who may have observed anything suspicious Monday night in the Hidden River or Willow Park subdivision to contact the Parker Police Department at 303-841-9800 and ask for Detective Brukbacher or email the detective at sbrukbacher@parkeronline.org.
