LOVELAND, Colo. - Authorities say a missing elderly couple from Loveland has been found safe in Jefferson County on Monday afternoon.
The state Department of Public Safety ended a Missing Senior Citizen Alert for Stanley H. Jones, 84, and his wife, Carolyn J. Jones, 74, at 5:03 p.m. Officials said the couple was being reunited with their family.
The missing couple had raised concerns in part because Stanley Jones suffers from dementia and Carolyn Jones has Alzheimer's disease, officials said.
The Joneses were last seen at 4:35 a.m. Monday at Mississippi Street and Fruita Drive in Loveland, authorities said.
Authorities said the couple may have been traveling in a 2009 dark blue Honda with the Colorado license plate number 001TSB, officials said. They may be attempting to drive back to Estes Park.
