Deputies find 2 bodies, dead pets after Loveland trailer home fire; Cause under investigation

LOVELAND, Colo. - First-responders found two bodies inside a Loveland trailer home that burned early Thursday, authorities said.

The trailer fire was reported just after midnight at 1212 Butte Rd., said John Schulz, spokesman for the Larimer County Sheriff's Office. Deputies and Loveland Fire Department crews responded.

Deputies entering trailer No. 30 discovered the bodies of a man and a woman along with several dead pets, Schulz said.

The Larimer County Coroner's Office took custody of the bodies and is expected to perform autopsies later Thursday, Schulz said. The coroner will make positive identification of the victims and determine the cause and manner of their death.

Investigators are working to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
