Police investigate man's body found floating face up in creek at Longmont's Lanyon Park

LONGMONT, Colo. - Longmont police are investigating a body found in a creek at Lanyon Park on Thursday night.
The Longmont Times-Call reports a man's was found floating face up in the water just before 7 p.m. A family strolling in the park made the gruesome discovery.
At this point, police say foul play is not suspected, because there were no apparent signs of a struggle.
"We just don't know," police Sgt. Paul Campbell told the Times-Call. "We always look for that."
The newspaper said police detectives, along with investigators from the Boulder County District Attorney's Office and the coroner, were looking for clues.
An autopsy is scheduled today.
