Man held at gunpoint during robbery at Western Convenience Store in Longmont

LONGMONT, Colo. - Police are asking for the public's help to identify two men who took money and one pack of cigarettes during a frightening armed robbery at a gas station in Longmont.

Pictures from surveillance cameras inside the Western Convenience Gas on Main Street Wednesday night show at least one person being held at gunpoint during the robbery.

The two hooded and masked men went into the gas station's convenience store at 10:50 p.m.

Police say one robber was armed with a sawed-off shotgun. The other did not display a weapon.

Witnesses told officers the men ordered the customers and employees to the ground, then took money and one pack of cigarettes.

While at least one victim had a gun pointed at them, no one was hurt during the robbery and the suspects ran from the business eastbound on 15th Avenue.

Police said the armed man was described as Hispanic with dark brown eyes and a thin build. He was 20 to 30 years old, 5’5” to 5’8”, 150-160 pounds. He was wearing dark gloves with white emblem on the outside of the hands.

Police said the second suspect was also an Hispanic man with a thin build. He was 5’5” to 5’7, 150 pounds.
