LONGMONT, Colo. - A domestic violence call led police to chemical ingredients for making methamphetamine at a Longmont apartment building on Tuesday afternoon.
Longmont Police Cmdr. Jeff Satur told 7NEWS assignment editor Richard Cote that police were called about 3:30 p.m. on a report of domestic disturbance at the Grandview Meadows Apartments, located at 840 Grandview Meadows Drive.
Arriving officers entered an apartment unit and found chemicals to make methamphetamine, but tests did not confirm the presence of meth, Satur said.
Police called a hazardous material team that spent the night investigating the chemicals and conducting tests.
Police questioned a mother, a 20-year-old woman and 13-year-old boy in the apartment, but they have not been charged, Satur said.
The hazmat incident did not displace any residents of the apartment building.
