DENVER -- The Molly-Dharma run is an annual event that shines the spotlight on smaller rescue organizations that may not get the attention they so richly deserve.

Each year, funds are raised to spread the word about a new and worthy shelter.

In June, the annual motorcycle ride will benefit Planet Pet out of Denver.

The Molly-Dharma run is set for Sunday, June 11.

Registration will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Platte River Bar & Grill in Littleton.

You can also register ahead of time by clicking here.

The event was named for Molly-Dharma, a very large, intimidating dog who had many issues to overcome before she could be adopted. Molly-Dharma crossed the rainbow bridge in 2016.
