Gas leak shuts down Littleton Boulevard for several hours

LITTLETON, Colo. – A gas leak shut down Littleton Boulevard for several hours on Friday.

There were no reported evacuations due to the gas leak, as it was dissipating to the point where officials did not think evacuations were necessary, according to a city spokesperson.

As of the publishing of this article, Littleton Boulevard was still shut down between Prince and Crocker Streets.

The city said a contractor could be responsible for the leak.

The leak was reported at around 1 p.m.
