A man approached the girl and asked if she would like to have a good time, police said.
When the girl replied, "No," the man grabbed her arm and punched her in the face with his fist, police said. The girl way able to break free and ran away from the man.
The girl told police she had never seen the man before and did not know his name. She said he was in his early 20s and was wearing a black T-shirt, baggy blue jeans and white shoes. He had short, dark brown hair and a piercing through his left eyebrow that was a rod with a small ball on each end.
