LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Planning a wedding is stressful enough without Mother Nature getting in the way. Rachel Corralez was supposed to pick up her wedding bands from Colorado Mills but the mall is still closed after extensive hail damage.

The bride-to-be, Rachel Corralez, was distraught when she heard the mall would likely be closed until the fall. She tried to call the store and Colorado Mills but wasn't able to reach anyone.

She already put $340 down on the rings and hoped to pick them up last Friday. Her wedding date, June 10, is quickly approaching.

“I was like, 'I don’t know what rings my fiance/husband is going to put on my finger to say 'I do' to.' I don’t have an option at this point," said Corralez.

This story will hopefully have a happy ending by the time Corralez and her fiance Josh walk down the aisle.

Denver7 reached out to the Simon Property Group and the store's owner on the bride's behalf. The store owner contacted Corralez and they have arranged a time to pick up the rings.

"I am hopeful, the jeweler did reach out to me after you contacted them first," said Corralez.
