One of the two teen girls accused of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder for an alleged plot at Mountain Vista High School made her first court appearance on Thursday morning.
The 16-year-old girl, whose name has not been released, was brought into court wearing shackles on her hands and feet. The judge told the girl she is on no-bond hold.
The judge said the filing of charges has been delayed for two weeks.
The judge ordered the first girl, and the second teen arrested in the case, be held at a separate facilities. The judge said the second girl is on a psychiatric hold.
Investigators said the school was notified of the threat over the Text-A-Tip line on Saturday. It's believed a student made the call. Officials said the plot was foiled on Sunday.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said it determined there was a credible threat and deputies arrested two 16-year-old females who attend Mountain Vista High School.
Both suspects are in "secured facilities," officials said.
The specific nature of the threats hasn't been released.
Mountain Vista High School is in Highlands Ranch.
