GREELEY, Colo. - Prosecutors said a former Christian school teacher's assistant is going to prison for sexually assaulting two teenaged girls.
The Greeley Tribune first reported the arrest of Michael Josef Willits last September.
The newspaper said Willits was arrested after he sexually assaulted a girl he was giving guitar lessons.
Prosecutors said Willits met the second girl after he offered to pray with her following a family tragedy.
Under a plea bargain, Willits pleaded guilty to sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust. He was sentenced to six years to life, prosecutors said.
The two victims in the case were 14 and 15 years old.
