FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Police shot a man outside a hospital in Fort Collins early Thursday morning.
The 53-year-old man confronted an officer with a knife outside the Poudre Valley Hospital - University of Colorado Health around 5 a.m., according to the Fort Collins Police Department.
The officer shot the man outside the emergency room.
Police did not provide information about the extent of the man's injuries.
No one else was hurt.
