FORT COLLINS, Colo. - An autopsy has confirmed the accidental death of a man who went missing from Fort Collins.
George Gosden, 64, was reported missing after walking away from a home at 2381 Eastborogh Dr. around 8 p.m. on July 5. The Fort Collins Police Department issued an alert, asking the public to keep an eye out for him.
Police said Gosden suffered from dementia.
Gosden passed away at an unknown time on July 6, the Larimer County Coroner Office determined. Identification of the body was confirmed through dental records, clothing and jewelry.
The causes of death were ruled to be atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, environmental exposure, dehydration and dementia.
