DENVER -- Colorado's most wanted sex offender is Albert Frank Garza.
Garza, 56, has been convicted in the past of sex abuse and indecent liberties, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigations.
Garza became the most wanted sex offender in Colorado when the previous No. 1 wanted man, Richard Atz, was arrested earlier this month.
State authorities have created a list of the top 100 most wanted sex offenders.
Garza is wanted on suspicion of sex assault on a child, failure to register as a sex offender and possession of meth, according to the Fort Collins Police Department.
Garza is 5'5 tall, weighs about 185 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes.
