Flash fire in Fort Collins taco shop kitchen injures 4 employees, 1 in critical condition

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - A flash fire at Fuzzy's Taco Shop Harmony Road location in Fort Collins injured four people Friday.

Witnesses on the scene said they saw a "fireball" fly out of the kitchen at the shop, and several fire engines were there as of 1 p.m. on Friday.

An employee said they believed an aerosol can was too close to the stove in the kitchen and exploded, but that information has not been confirmed by the fire department.

Four Fuzzy's employees were taken to the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland to be treated for burns, said Poudre Fire Authority spokesman Patrick Love. One person had critical injuries.

Fuzzy's Harmony Road location opened in Oct. 2013.
