DENVER - A fire that started in a construction truck has damaged an overhanging awning on Denver's historic Union Station.
The fire broke out Friday. No injuries have been reported. Firefighters are still investigating the extent of the damage.
The cause of the fire wasn't immediately known.
Construction workers have been evacuated from the station, which was built in 1881 and is being renovated as a hotel.
The renovations are part of a project to turn the station and immediate area into a transportation hub served by Amtrak, light rail and buses.
