Denver Police are looking for a car thief who triggered a crash that killed another driver and injured the passenger in the stolen vehicle.
The four-door sedan was speeding when it hit a pickup truck causing it to rollover on southbound Interstate 25 near Colfax around 2 a.m. Thursday, according to a Denver police spokesman.
The driver of the Chevy pickup, Jeffrey Koontz, 52, died at the scene.

The female driver of the stolen vehicle left the scene of the crash on foot. A male passenger in the stolen vehicle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and remains in critical condition.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact the Denver Police Department with any clues so they may be able to identify the suspect.
