DENVER - Two people were injured when a car careened into a home in Denver and police are looking for a second vehicle that may have driven away after the crash.
Denver Police detectives are in the area of 14th Avenue and Oneida Street, where a Toyota 4Runner crashed through a fence and into the wall of a brick house. Yellow evidence markers on the street trace the path the SUV followed onto the property.
Denver Police tweeted the homeowner inside was seriously injured and the driver of the Toyota suffered minor injuries. Bricks fell on the homeowners head.
The second car that may have been involved is described only as a gray vehicle.
The 4Runner was towed away from the crash scene around 7:30 and 14th Avenue reopened to traffic in the area at that time.
