Police release photo of 2 people accused of stealing wallet at Denver Health for shopping spree

DENVER - Denver police are trying to identify two people suspected of stealing a wallet at Denver Health Medical Center and using the victim's credit card to go on a shopping spree.

Police released a surveillance photo showing the pair accused of stealing the wallet that an individual left on a chair in a waiting area at the hospital at about 2 p.m. on April 19.

The two people took the wallet to a Ross store at 1541 Stout St and used the victim’s credit card to purchase various items, police said.

A reward of up to $2,000 is available for information leading to the arrest and charging of those responsible for this crime. Tipsters with information on the crime can anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or text 274637 (CRIMES), enter the title DMCS and your message.
