DENVER - A Denver mother is charged in connection with the death of her infant son earlier this month.
On March 6, Taylor Bush called 911 to report that her son had stopped breathing. The child, Jomei Johnson, was taken to Children's Hospital and died the next day.
According to Denver District Attorney spokeswoman Lynn Kimbrough, the child had a skull fracture and bleeding in the brain.
Bush is charged with one count of child abuse resulting in death, a felony.
Kimbrough said Bush is in custody with bond set at $100,000. She is scheduled for an advisement hearing Tuesday morning.
