DENVER - Four months after getting his photo on the news for a bank robbery during Christmas week, Denver Police believe the suspect returned to rob the same bank while wearing a different hat.
Officers say the suspect first robbed the U.S. Bank at 3400 W.38th Ave. on Dec. 23. He was wearing a hardhat and safety vest, giving him the appearance of a construction worker.
In December, authorities said that he claimed to have a bomb during that robbery.
In the second robbery of the same location, on April 18, the suspect wore a black jacket and a black-and-white ball cap.
The same suspect is believed to have worn a black cap with a white logo during a May 2013 robbery of a First Bank location at 4700 West 38th Avenue.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot white male in his 50s or 60s. He has gray hair and weighs between 200 and 210 pounds.
