Eloy Montoya arrested in Pueblo for two bank robberies in Denver and a third in Aurora

DENVER - A suspect in three July bank robberies, including two that happened within a single hour, was caught Saturday in Pueblo.
FBI spokesman Dave Joly said Eloy Montoya, 19, is currently facing one bank robbery charge and two others are pending. Joly also said the case is going to be prosecuted by the District Attorney's Office in Denver, where Montoya allegedly robbed two banks and cased a third.
The third bank robbery happened in Aurora.
The robberies occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank at 1001 South Monaco Street and the Key Bank at 5250 on Leetsdale Drive in Denver. The Aurora robbery occurred at the Chase Bank at 1627 South Havana Street.
The First Bank and the Chase Bank were robbed on July 17, between 9:08 a.m. and 10:08 a.m. During that hour, he also allegedly visited the First Bank at 8901 East Hampden Avenue in Denver.
Montoya's record in the Colorado Bureau of Investigation database shows no previous criminal history.
