Police seek gunman who robbed dry cleaners in west Denver

Police: 2 teens stopped near scene not suspects

DENVER - Police are trying to identify a gunman who robbed a dry cleaners in west Denver on Friday morning.

The gunman held-up the dry cleaners at 4436 West 29th Ave. just before 10:30 a.m., said Denver Police spokesman Aaron Kafer.

Kafer said the robbery suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man who was armed with a gun. He was about 6-feet tall and was wearing a red bandana mask and a red hooded sweatshirt.

Arriving officers initially detained two young men seen running from the scene. Police said they later determined the two men weren't involved in the robbery. One of them had an unrelated arrest warrant.
