Two people are accused of taking a free ride from an Uber driver and robbing him.
Prosecutors say Wenston Williams and Kimberly Kovinchick took a ride from a 55-year-old Uber driver on New Year's Eve in Denver.
However, after the driver took them to another location, they robbed him at knifepoint, according to the charges.
Williams, 50, is charged with aggravated robbery, first-degree assault and three counts of possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
Kovinchick, 32, is charged with aggravated robbery and first-degree assault.
